Abstract :
Buffer management is a key design issue in the development of any machine vision system. Triple buffering is a memory economical buffer management scheme which minimizes the processor idle time while frames are being acquired and ensures the processing of intact frames. Matlab simulation results of the triple buffer scheme clearly prove the significance of this scheme in contrast to other buffering schemes.
