Abstract :
As one of the broadly-known alternative applications, indoor optical wireless systems appear to demonstrate promising potentials in wireless communications, especially those presented as the next generation communication due to the high speed and high security assurance in data transmission facilitated by Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) system which enjoys unregulated bandwidth. This paper provides the in-depth discussion and analysis on the design and performance of MIMO system based on a 2×2 infrared OOK modulation and regulated at 100 kHz, 1 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth.
