Abstract :
This article investigates the exponential stable guaranteed cost control problem for a class of uncertain neutral type systems with time-delay. Based on the Lyapunov second method, the linear memoryless state feedback control laws are designed such that the closed-loop system is exponentially stable and the closed-loop cost function value is not more than a specified upper bound for all admissible uncertainty. The sufficient conditions for the existence of the exponential stable guaranteed cost controller are presented in the term of LMIs. Moreover, the design problem of the optimal exponential stable guaranteed cost controller for the system is cast into a standard convex optimization problem with LMIs constraints. Finally, two simulations results are presented to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of our proposed method.
