Abstract
The competition for market share among Internet service providers (ISPs) in the Internet service market is similar to the one for prey among predators in a single-prey-multi- predators biological system. Based on the classical Lotka-Volterra (LV) model, constructing a multi-ISPs game model (MIGM), studying the games among ISPs under different market environment, analyzing the stability of the equilibrium points and the influences of system parameters on the equilibria via Liapunov´s first method, and also showing some characteristics of the system through mathematical analysis and simulation.
