Abstract :
The DES (data encryption standard) had been researched for many years, and the application technology and software or hardware equipment had been developed as well. People have many questions to it, but to improve the DES algorithm was still the focus of the researchers. It not only has advantages in theory, but also in practicable. This paper analyzed the properties of logistic mapping, found it had good cryptology characteristic. The dissertation applied logistic mapping to the DES algorithm, analyzed the properties of key space, key sensitivity and statistical by application of image encryption, verified the improvement of security in DES algorithm.
