Abstract :
The voltage lift technique is a popular method that is widely applied in electronic circuit design. This paper introduces implemental methods of the voltage lift technique based on the prototypes of SEPIC and Cuk converters. A novel mirror-symmetrical double-output dc-dc converter is thus proposed. It can perform from positive to positive and negative dc-dc voltage increasing conversion with higher voltage transfer gains, high power density, high efficiency and simple structures. The proposed topology is different from other existing double-output dc-dc converters and possesses obvious advantages. The theoretical analysis in the continuous and discontinuous conduction modes is given in detail. Both the simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the proposed topology.
