Abstract :
In this paper, frame design for reliable data communication is studied. Transparency, reliability for frame synchronization and field boundary detection is analyzed by the proposed method. The method presented in this paper is based on adding a relatively small number of redundant bits that can eliminate the control characters. The redundant bits can be used to detect the bounds of each field by using correlation technique. Good results are achieved by using relatively small synch word and redundant dbits (two bits).
