Abstract :
The paper discusses advanced technologies for the next generation VSAT network. It includes a discussion of implementing satellites with high EIRP (effective isotropic radiated power), multiple beam satellites that cover multiple spots, on board processing unit, routing, and switching systems. These improved technologies make the VSAT networks are more effective economical communication networks with low cost terminal by means of the improved technologies.
