Abstract :
Design and development of a structure like Chinese character “t” for wide angle scan phased array with high gain and performance easily realizing direction reconfiguration is presented. The new structure satisfies the requirements on the maximum reflection coefficient of Γ ≤ 20 dB for a half power beam-width of ±60o in E-plane and ±57.5o in H-plane with a moderate gain of 7 dBi. Having confirmed the validity of this structure, the 2.4GHz antenna prototype is fabricated, tested experimentally and shows good performance.
