Abstract :
Shortage of water resources seriously imperils river eco-environment and regional economic development. In this paper, the major problems of the Weihe River have been summarized. The ecological basic flow of Baoji section, Weihe River has been estimated through Tennant method, 90% flow duration method and minimum monthly average flow method. It has been concluded that the ecological basic flow of Baoji section is 10 m3/s. On the actual condition, the ecological basic flow guarantee measures are agricultural irrigation water saving, regional water transfer project and efficient management.
