Abstract
The paper proposes a roaming key (RK) based protocol for fast and secure intra- and inter-domain handover in wireless local area networks (WLANs) based on IEEE 802.11. A number of security requirements are also presented and the fulfillment of these requirements by the proposed protocol is also studied.
