  • Abstract
    A wideband eight-element PI equivalent circuit is proposed for modeling the high-Q spiral inductors buried into the 4-layer BT(Bismaleimide Triazine) organic laminate package substrate. Mathematical formulations derived by analyzing two resonant responses enable fast and accurate extraction of all model elements as frequency-independent values. Good agreement between measurements and modeled results has verified the broadband and accurate features of proposed model.
