Abstract :
A compact multi-band planar antenna is proposed in this paper. A slot is etched on the antenna to achieve multiple resonances and a meandering line structure is applied to achieve the lowest band. Modified ground structure and parasitic strip are presented in the antenna to broaden the bandwidth. The size of radiation antenna element is 14mm-37mm and printed on the PCB. The operating frequency bands are with 450MHz-470MHz, 876MHz-960MHz, 1710MHz-2170MHz, covers GSM, DCS, PCS, and LTE. Both simulation and measurement results are shown to illustrate the performances of the antenna.
