Abstract :
Three types of novel broadband omnidirectional antennas are developed, including a circularly polarized antenna, a horizontally polarized antenna and a 45° linearly polarized antenna. All of these antennas have a bandwidth of about 30% with good omnidirectional radiation patterns. An 8-element antenna array for each type of the broadband omnidirectional antenna is presented.
