Abstract :
Particle swarm optimization for solving nonlinear equations is proposed in this paper. In view of the problem of multi-solutions, “stretching” technique based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) is applied. The technique can be used to get all real solutions of systems of equations in searching the parameter space. Finally, some numerical tests are given to show the effectiveness of the method.
