Abstract :
When energy backup is required an uninterruptible supply system (UPS) is the traditional approach. There are many UPS topologies reported in literature, but many of them are for single phase systems. In this paper an UPS for a three phase system is proposed, the proposed system uses interleaved three phase boost rectifiers integrated with the battery charger, and as a final stage a three phase inverter; high power factor, isolation between input and output voltage is obtained. Operation and experimental results are shown.
