Abstract :
XML (Extensible Markup Language) describes the particular structural relationship between nodes, XML encoding scheme is to assign the unique number to each node, and realizes fast operation through the numbered structure reflecting the structure of nodes. With the expanding application fields of XML, the characteristics of each area should be reflected in the encoding process of XML. This paper analyzes the features of the map information which is widely used in GIS, proposes a new coding scheme to achieve effective dynamic updating purposes.
