Abstract :
This paper details advancements in the field of dead-front separable insulated connectors for underground distribution systems. Heretofore, all dead-front loadbreak separable insulated connectors have been limited to 200 A of load current. This work describes in detail the latest technology in dead-front separable insulated connectors: the 600 A loadbreak connector system.
