Abstract
A class of correlation estimates for complex spherically invariant random processes is introduced as an extension of the polarity coincidence correlator estimate. Their accuracy is for reference cases, and some experimental results are provided. Some hybrid estimators based on an extension of the Bussgang theorem are briefly reviewed. The computational advantages of the proposed estimators are outlined
