  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the new challenges faced by electricity network companies in accurately monitoring power quality, with particular emphasis on harmonic distortion due to the increasing presence of power electronic devices and wind turbine connections. A number of possible solutions based on the application of new technologies to the Tasmanian transmission network are presented.
