Abstract :
Most domestic products in standby mode consume notable power that occupied an unacceptable proportion of the total domestic electric consumption. A design of smart energy-saving power module is implemented in order to mitigate this problem. This design cuts off power physically if the loads standby, which is detected by a simple power sensor attached to the IC. The implemented prototype draws no power when switched off.
