Abstract :
A low cost miniaturised microstrip patch antenna is presented. It consists of a planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) having two rectangular stacked patches with sorting pins and an air gap. It has been designed, fabricated and tested to be used in a GSM 1800 handset.
