Abstract
With the applications increment of video conference based on wideband IP network, in order to solve the problems such as the servers´ burden and QoS for scaled video conference, the paper proposes a video conference architecture based on P2P technology. The architecture adopts a hybrid mechanism, which is based on P2P technology and Proxy, to transfer the video for users; it uses layered authorization mechanism to authorize the user to admit the video conference, and uses encryption technology to encrypt the video content that are transferred in P2P mode. The system can support scaled video conference, and it can also make sure of the confidentiality of the admitted users in the video conference, and provide the security of the video content.
