Study on Verb Phrase of "V+N" Structure in Search Engine Query Logs

In Modern Chinese, "V+N" structure as a common pattern is a typical combination to form verb phrases. This paper, based on Sogou log corpus, in which the "V+N" verb phrase was researched and described from the perspective of the characteristics of constructional elements, semantic features and syntactic function, provides a theoretical basis for the development of search engine and a reference for further improving the quality of search engine. Furthermore, it conducts multi-angular experiments on "V+N" verb phrases and leads to further research subject on verb phrase based on Sogou log corpus by the analysis of experimental data.
