Abstract
Inter Symbol Interference (ISI), Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and multiple antennas interference will be suppressed effectively by Grake receiver in MIMO-HSDPA system. Compare with usual chip-level receivers, Grake receiver processes symbol-level data and results in lower complexity when little physical channels are used. This paper proposes an adaptive scheme for fingers selection. The scheme is that fingers number is selected according to current receive Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), which decreases complexity compared with non-adaptive Grake receiver. At the end, simulation results prove that the total number of complex multiplication in adaptive scheme is almost half of that in non-adaptive system.
