            Abstract : 
A single feed, wide-band, stacked microstrip patch antenna for wireless communication system is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of circular stacked patches over a slotted ground plane. The characteristics of the designed structure are investigated by using FEM based electromagnetic solver, HFSS. For the optimization analysis of the antenna design, HFSS´s optometric analysis is used.
