Abstract
Traffic matrix plays a very important role in network management field, such as network design, network optimization, traffic detection, etc. As a result, it is always a hot topic in network research field. This paper studies IP network traffic matrix estimation, and takes into account of inaccuracy and noise due to various factors such as network measurement. Furthermore, in order to solve the ill-posed nature of network traffic matrix, this paper builds a mathematical model with the help of FGLS(Feasible Generalized Least Squares) which is generally applied in science of statistics. According to the model, simulation results shows that with the sample data the performance of estimation has improved based on FGLS.
