Abstract :
Mobile TV is a killer application in ongoing tri-networks convergence. The core competitiveness of Mobile TV is it allowing users to watch anytime and anywhere. The paper adopted empirical method to verify the characteristics of fragmentation and watching anytime & anywhere of Mobile TV usage. The paper further discusses how and why to use Mobile TV based on the occasion, time and viscosity indexes, and compares streaming media with broadcasting mobile TV.
