Abstract :
MR damper is one of the most promising new devices for vibration control of structures. Numerical modeling of MR damper behavior is a crucial topic that must be implemented before successful control of structural vibration is feasible. Based on the basic characteristics of the MR damper control, the application in MR damper control of intelligent theory is introduced. The algorithms are systematically reviewed from the aspects including neural network-based control, neuro-fuzzy based control, and fuzzy logic-based control. Finally, the existed problem in application and the future developing in research on the intelligent algorithms in MR damper control are summarized respectively.
