Abstract :
Nowadays, simulation of large distributed environments is a very important research field. Due to the large number of components to be simulated, the execution of those simulations requires a high level of resources such as CPU and memory. Thus, in order to increase the performance of those simulations, a feasible solution consists on splitting the complete model in sub-domains, where each sub-domain is executed in a single machine. In this paper we propose a strategy to automatically accomplish the parallelization of those environments, which has been implemented and tested in the SIMCAN simulation platform.
