Abstract :
In this paper, we present computer animation skill for a linear controller for attitude of helicopter. We use a rotational matrix in one approach and a quaternion in the other approach to describe the dynamics and controller. We use 3ds max software for the design of the helicopter and combine this software with OpenGL for the animation of the helicopter. The construction of the helicopter are composed of three main parts, main body, main rotor, and tail rotor. All the data for the dynamics are derived by using Matlab and used for the animation of the graphics.
