Abstract :
This paper aims to investigate the reasonable and effective nutrition ways for high level middle-distance runners in university. Six women middle-distance runners were chosen as experimental subjects. They were randomly divided into 2 groups, the experiment and the control group. It took 80 days to conduct this experiment. In the process of experiment, the same training plans were performed in the experiment group and the control group. Concerning diet, traditional food was given in the control group, but in the experiment group, the nutrition supply plan was carried out. Runners had been tested by 1500m race respectively to be observed relevant index changes. The result showed that there was no significance between two groups´ interrelated index before experiment. After experiment: 1) Runners´ instant heart rate after 3min, 6min, 10min running was lower than that in the contrast group and there was significant difference. 2) The content of blood lactic acid and urea nitrogen was lower in the experiment than that in the control group and there was significant difference. 3) The amount of per capita intake vitamin and mineral substance in the experiment was superior to that in the control group. The conclusion was that the ways of supplying nutrition for athletes were quick and effective. Athletes can strengthen energy and quickly recover from the fatigue state and keep in best healthy condition to obtain excellent marks in competitions.
