Abstract
Input-series and output-parallel (ISOP) converters are suitable for the high input voltage and low output voltage conversion applications. An ISOP current mode AC/AC converter with high frequency link is proposed. The control strategy and operation principle of the ISOP AC/AC converter are investigated. The control strategy ensures the proper sharing of the input voltage and the proper sharing of the output current among the ISOP AC/AC converter. By simulation, the correctness of the operation principle and the control strategy of the ISOP AC/AC converter are proved.
