Abstract :
To guarantee the effective communications under any circumstances and enhance the utility of communication system in nuclear power plants, it is proposed the application of Ad Hoc networks in nuclear power plants. In this paper, we demonstrate the feasibility of exploiting Ad Hoc networks in nuclear power plants. It is found that Ad Hoc networks can be used to guarantee the availability of communications when faults occur in the center plant room and the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
