Abstract :
Denoising is one of the major part in on-line partial discharge(PD) measurement system. In the recent years wavelet transform has been widely used in PD denoising area and its effectiveness discussed in many papers. In this paper, different wavelet based transforms such as DWT, WPT, SWT and DT-CWT and their performance in PD signal denoising with definition proper criteria have been investigated.
