Research and Design of Information System for Basic Education Based on SaaS

SaaS (Software as a Service) is a new informationization model that promoted for SMEs. This paper describes the current status of China´s basic education informationization, proposes to develop information system based on the SaaS model for primary and secondary schools and basic education administrative, and gives the steps to implement. In order to improve the flexibility and scalability, an architecture based on platform + plug-in is adopted to develop the system and some key technologies are analyzed. This program can solve many problems in the informationization of basic education, such as uneven development, huge investment and low rate of growth and so on, and improve basic education informationization developed in depth.
