A new PID-Fuzzy controller for DC/DC converters

Abstract :
In this paper a PID-fuzzy controller is proposed in order to control of a Buck DC/DC converter. A fuzzy system is used to tune the PID controller gains in real time. This fuzzy system is constructed from a set of fuzzy IF-THEN rules that describe how to choose the PID gains under certain operation conditions. The simulation results are presented for line and load regulations, i.e. the effects of input voltage and load variation on the proposed controller.
