Abstract :
In this paper, the soft switching technique is applied to the KY converter to upgrade the efficiency in the neighborhood of the rated load and hence enhance its capability in industrial applications. The details of soft switching of the KY converter are illustrated along with some simulated and experimental results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
