Abstract :
An All Island TSO Facilitation of Renewable (FOR) Studies was commissioned to investigate the potential issues of incorporating high levels of wind penetration as a percentage of total electricity generation. This paper summarizes firstly the general findings of the work package relating to the dynamic and stability studies performed for the studies by Siemens PTI. In addition, new mechanisms of dynamic interactions are highlighted in this paper.
