Abstract
This paper introduces a method to support intuitive and simple surface appearance design of 3D computer graphics shapes. Texture mapping is widely used to improve the visual richness of 3D surfaces. This method generates multiple texture patterns obtained by various image processing and allows users to evaluate them sensitively. We apply interactive evolutionary computation (IEC) framework to find the pleasant color texture pattern for 3D surfaces.
