Abstract :
This paper addresses with the resequencing queue size on multi-path transfers in the view of queuing system. We use resequencing queue size of bottleneck packets as criteria to measure the resequencing buffer occupancy, by giving out its concrete formula, the influence of traffic intensity, paths difference and paths number on resequencing queue size of bottleneck packets is analyzed. Results show that resequencing queue size of bottleneck packets is a monotone increasing concave function of traffic intensity, and to reduce resequencing queue size of bottleneck packets remarkably, paths number should not succeed four and the transmission rate for different paths should be approximately equal.
