Abstract :
This paper addresses the problem of stabilizing an unstable time-invariant linear system by means of dynamic output feedback, where both the output measurements and the control signals are quantized, coded and transmitted over a noisy digital communication channel which connects the sensors, controllers and plants. It is found that there exists a quantization, coding and control strategy above a lower bound of data rates of the channel such that all closed-loop trajectories tend asymptotically to zero. Simulations are done to verify the obtained theoretical results.
