Abstract
This paper presents a high performance vector controlled PWM current source inverter (PWM-CSI) fed induction motor drive where only the measured rotor angular speed and the DC-link current are needed for motor control. Novel methods for compensating the capacitive currents of the motor filter and damping the motor current oscillations in the transient conditions are presented. The validity of the proposed methods are verified by simulation
