Abstract :
In an AI (artificial intelligence) game, authentic behaviors of NPC (non-player character) are great challenges to NPC intelligence. Emotions help to enhance the quality and intelligence of behaviors and contribute to increase the entertainment value of the game. In this paper, we describe several common emotional behaviors of NPC and construct a simple emotion-behavior model for emotion transition. The model was simulated in our developing project
