Abstract :
A multi-band fixed cellular phone antenna having a single feed has been presented. The multi-band antenna contains a uniform helix wire for GSM900 and a short whip for GSM1800. The antenna is analyzed using an FDTD technique. Good agreement has been achieved between the calculated and measured return losses.
