Abstract :
Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) elicitation is a critical stage in software development. Currently there are incipient advances aimed to the NFRs systematic elicitation. This article presents a proposal for the NFRs elicitation from business process models existing in organizations. The main contribution of the approach is to assist the requirements engineer in the systematic NFRs elicitation process using heuristics and templates, designed for this purpose, and organizational knowledge existing in the form of business process models.
