Abstract :
A simple finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method based on regular Cartesian Yee´s lattice is developed for calculating the dispersion diagram of triangular lattice photonic crystals (PCs). Numerical results from two-dimentional (2D) FDTD agrees well with plane wave expansion (PWE) method.
