ELTA mobile terminal

A mobile terminal for satellite communications which operate at Ku-band frequencies for transmission of compressed video and telemetry data over a satellite channel, is now under development at ELTA (a subsidiary of IAl, the Israeli Aircraft Industry). The terminal is designed for mobile ground vehicles like trucks or vans, and is a relatively low cost product of compact size. That terminal is characterized of being a fast deployment product for two way transmission of video, voice, telemetry data, and also telephony, over the satellite channel from vehicles during travel.
