Abstract
Digital testing is an emerging interdisciplinary branch of engineering. A solid foundation in the field requires good knowledge of calculus and discrete mathematics, and an awareness of the practical considerations encountered in actual testing of the digital systems. The balance of theory and practice within a digital testing course taught by the author is examined, and it is shown to be a function of the level of the course
