Abstract :
This paper develops a new set of small signal models for buck and boost paralleled and interleaved converters. These models provide a more accurate representation of the small signal behavior of this class of converters by including independent duty cycle control of each paralleled interleaved converter in the model and taking into account the dumping effect from interleaving the converter stages. This model is considered more suitable for digital current control of each power converter individually.
